Designed by AECOM and the Arab Engineering Bureau, JIC completed the Civil Engineering design for Al Thumama Stadium and its surrounding complex. Inspired by the traditional Qatari gahfiya head cap, this venue is celebrated for blending cultural symbolism with modern engineering.

• Water and Wastewater Servicing

The masterplan also introduced landscaped public areas, shaded walkways, and recreational amenities to ensure the stadium would serve as a lasting community hub beyond tournament use.​
